Missions and Community Involvement

Christ calls us to ministry in the world. The current policy of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville is to give 28% of our yearly offerings to projects beyond the walls of our church.

The Mission Action Concerns (MAC) Committee coordinates our giving. Mission projects that we currently support include the Christian Fellowship Center, Phoenixville; PACS (Phoenixville Area Community Services); the Kuwadzana Presbyterian Church, Zimbabwe, Africa; Philadelphia Street People, Philadelphia; and Presbyterian mission causes in the U.S.A. and worldwide.

Additional ministries include community use of our building, a prayer chain, a cassette tape ministry for those unable to attend worship services, and Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners for those alone during the holidays.
