Fall, Winter, Spring Worship, Holidays & Summer Concert Events
Music is an integral part of our worship of God. The
First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville is proud to have one
of the finest musical programs in the area. Under the
direction of David
Nicol, the church choir warms the sanctuary with
enlightening renditions of traditional and modern hymnal music.
Young aspiring vocalists add to the service in the either the
Children's Choir or the Little Angels - Jr. Choir.
The Sanctuary Choir, under the direction of David Nicol, assists in worship September through June. Adult Choir rehearsals are held Thursday at 7:30
PM.
Youth Choir
The Junior Choir and the Little Angels Choir participate in the
worship services on a monthly basis. Their enthusiasm and
commitment to First Presbyterian is a gift to be cherished.
Every rehearsal brings new musical challenges to the group that
they greet eagerly.
For decades, the church has performed many musicals involving
the youth. In recent years they have included "The
Christmas Chronicles", The Rock Slinger", and "Once Upon a
Parable" all written by Allen Pote. Last year they
presented "The First Action Heroes" by Pam Anderson.
Little Angels rehearsals are held Thursdays at 6:00
PM (ages 4 - 1st grade); Junior Choir follows immediately at 6:30 PM (1st grade - Jr. High).
